This year we had over seven thousand expressions of interest to access our services (Source: Eventbrite data, 2020). This includes unmet demand, where events were running at capacity, resulting in the formation of waitlists. Almost two thousand researchers were on waitlists to attend our training for digital research tools in 2020 (Source: Eventbrite data, 2020).
We serviced a total of over 3,300 attendances at our training events, with 2,770 unique researchers engaging in our training and community events in 2020 (Source: Eventbrite data, 2020). Demand for our training has increased over time, as seen in the time series plot (Source: Eventbrite data, 2017 to 2020).
According to 1,194 respondents, 85.5% of training attendees deemed the skills and topics covered in our workshops relevant to their research (Source: Feedback survey data, 2020).
Our training and community events are attended by graduate researchers in all faculties at the university, with a large number of attendances from Architecture Building & Planning, the Faculty of Business & Economics, the Faculty of Science, and Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences (Source: Eventbrite data, 2020).
